Elway got his stats WITHOUT great support from his team. He retired WAY on top, and why not put up some running stats for the QBs -- just to show where his overall athletic advantage was. Elway often won the game pretty much by himself, running play after play where he bootlegged and got first downs and touchdowns... Favre is great, but there have been a lot of great players.
