Everybody knows about Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. But, I have 5 running backs who are going to surprise a ton of people!

# 1 - Adrian Peterson - Minnesota Vikings - Running Back.

Whew! I remember when Mr. Peterson was a super star at the University of Oklahoma! He is still as fast, if not faster, and will be turning heads in Minnesota. I expect him to rush for over 1,600 yards and lead Minnesota to a 10-6 record.

# 2 - LaDanlian Thomlinson - San Diego Chargers - Running Back.

The regular season has never been an issue with L.T. He’s always dominant! The problems arise when the Chargers play those pesky New England Patriots! If Phillip Rivers can perform at a high level again this year, expect L.T. to have another PHENOMENAL season. Chargers finish 11-5 and win the AFC West.

# 3 - Brian Westbrook - Philadelphia Eagles - Running Back

Villanova graduate Brian Westbrook is a flash of lightning for the Philadelphia Eagles! He’s got tremendous vision and can stop on a dime! I think Brian will break all his performance bests of seasons past and will rush for over 1300 yards. The Eagles, riding on his shoulders, will do incredible and wreak havoc in the NFC East. Look out Cowboys and Redskins! (Giants will challenge.)

# 4 - Ricky Williams - Miami Dolphins - Running Back.

Is that Mr. Ricky Williams, the marijuana man? YES! Call me crazy, but Ricky Williams is going to shine in Miami. Everybody is predicting them to go 3-13, but I think they’ll finish a respectable 7-9 in the AFC East. Ricky will be back to Heisman form and will easily rush for over 1,000 yards. Go Ricky!

# 5 - Michael Turner - Atlanta Falcons - Running Back.

WHO?! You mean you’ve never heard of Michael Turner?! Well, get ready Atlanta fans, this guy is a SLEEPER. With Matt Ryan playing smart, fundamental football - you can count on Michael Turner getting his 25+ carries per game. He’s going to rush for over 1,200 yards and show the world that he is the REAL DEAL.

There are some obvious candidates that I’ve left off the list. Feel free to leave a comment and let me know who YOU think will be the best!

Thanks for the “digg” on my podcast. I tried to add you as a friend on digg.com. So how did a girl from Salt Lake City end up cheering for the Argos? Looking forward to reading more of your work.
