Jay Cutler and the Denver Broncos vomit on themselves after choking against Buffalo and now face “do or die” versus the San Diego Chargers for the AFC West title
The Denver Broncos blew a gift wrapped opportunity today to clinch the AFC West championship vs. the Buffalo Bills. With opportunities right in front of them, the Broncos continue to slip and slide down the rocky terrain of the National Football League and now find themselves in a “do or die” situation at San Diego next Sunday. With all the early season fortunes falling into the Broncos hands, the tables are starting to turn, and now the San Diego Chargers have an opportunity no one thought possible just 3 weeks ago. As the saying goes, “The Broncos choke under pressure” – and the kettle just got boiling hot.
While Jay Cutler threw for over 359 yards versus Buffalo, he was unable to convert on a 4th and 5 with just under a minute remaining to a wide open Brandon Stokley. Buffalo chose an all out blitz, leaving the middle of the field wide open, and Jay Cutler hung the ball up in the air just for a little too long. The Buffalo Bills knocked the ball out and deflated the Denver Broncos hot air balloon.
Remember early in the season when the Broncos won at home vs. Chargers on a touchdown after an official review ruled in Denver’s favor? Well – the tides have turned.
