George Bush asking for the center snap...

If George Bush were playing quarterback for Bill Belichek, I think he would have been benched about 58 million times.  The New England Patriots are just that – Patriots.

George Bush has behaved more like an Oakland Raider.  “Committed to Excellence”, but in reality, “sucking up the joint.”

So, in light of the NFL football season and politics mixing, I figured what better way than to have some fun with this.

Listen to the quarterback to coach verbal exchanges that would happen if George Bush were playing quarterback for Bill Belichek:

Bill to George – “By George, What the hell was that?  You just passed the ball to Mao Zedong!”

George to Bill – “Mao Zedong?  I thought we were playing Canada?!”

* George receives an automatic benching for that comment.

Next Game:

Belichek to Bush – ” Hey Bushie, great job on that “end around” for the touchdown.  I don’t think the American tax payer ever saw that one coming.”

Bushie responds: “Thanks Coach.  Maybe we can fool them into our special “bailout” play.”

* George receives a stare of, “what bailout play” from Belichek.  (hee hee hee George snickers to himself)  “I’ve got em’ right where I want em’…”

Let’s look at some different scenarios if George Bush were playing quarterback for Bill Belichek….

# 1 – The Patriots would instantly turn their team name from “Patriots” to “Turncoats”.  New team colors would be Benedict Arnold pure blood red.

# 2 – Bill Belichek would put in a “special blocking scheme” that would allow the offensive line to give a free pass to defensive lineman.  After the vicious hit George took from those 300 lb. defensive lineman, he would raise one finger from the ground and immediately the ambulance would be out on the field.  Bill Belichek would smile heavily for the first time in his life.

# 3 – If George Bush were playing quarterback for Bill Belichek, instead of going 18-0, the Patriots would not have won a single game.  Bill Belichek would have been fired long ago and “Bushie” would be wagging his tail waiting for a football game at the YMCA in Houston.
